@Nico - Very close! The angle of the camera was implying the black chuck were mine - good observation! And on that day, they were mine.

@Fah! - YAY!!! I love you! I know you're sad. But just 3 more weeks of that damn English and you can have your reunion.

@Chazza - Bingo! I was wearing the black ones. E was wearing the green, and E's gf was sporting the white with the cool shorts and keychain.

We actually all have that "keychain" - it was a necklace from the diet pepsi float.

I love having visitors to the Big Apple! Everyone is just so awesome!!! :-)

First Picture from Parade

NYC Pride Parade was awesome.... and very, very long! It was over 5 hours - yes, FIVE. And it seemed like every church in the tri-state area is gay friendly and in the parade.

The free stuff was fun - we all got plenty of free condoms, astroglide, men's face wash... and lollipops.

More to come... it took forever to upload the pictures because iPhoto sucks and something happened to my camera adapter.

I agree with some of it. I can even handle my girlfriend, Angie, coming in 2nd to Leisha. However, Famke Jansen #51, after Drew Barrymore (#42)? Stockard Channing beating out Mia Kirshner? Also Mia came in after Lindsey Lohan - WHAT?! HUH?! Ughhh!

I was happy to see Kate Walsh (HOT!), Kristin Bell, and Emily Blunt on the list. But it was also missing Jemina Rooper!!! Crazy list!

So... let's look at Angelina.

Weekend Snap-Shot

What would you do if you were given a million dollars today?

I think I would quit my job. Move near the ocean, and spend the summer learning to surf. Maybe move to San Diego, which I just love. Or stay within the NY area. I would want to buy a home/condo/townhouse. I want to own something. I want a balcony or backyard. Some place to sit and relax. I want to buy things for a place I actually own. I want to paint my walls any color that suits me. I want to buy a big, comfy chair, and sit in it every day. I want a washer and drying in my home. I want to be able to share my home with someone.

But I don't have a million dollars, so I must go to work today.

I have a long weekend coming up (3 1/2 days off!). I'm leaving work at Noon! I'm very excited. I might not be on the blogs, but I'll try to get on Twitter.

Wii Sad

I got the NEW Nintendo Wii!!


The same afternoon my TV broke.

The two events are unrelated (sort of).

No, I didn't fling the Wii remote at the TV and crack the screen. And no, I didn't get so excited playing Wii tennis that I leaped on the TV. Basically, my video outputs weren't working correctly, and so in an effort to see the back of my TV and "investigate" the problem, I moved my TV and it became lop-sided and started to fall over. I grabbed it and thought "Whoa, that was close!" But unfortunately, me holding it half in the air, wasn't gonna last long. My arms quickly got tired from holding up 100+ pounds of TV (seriously, my dog weighs less!), and ultimately, my TV fell to the ground.

I figured, "Oh, I'm sure it will be okay." Well, I pulled it in, and heard sizzling noises. Not good. I opened up the back - as if I have any clue what I'm looking at - and received about 10 electric shocks from the TV (and yes, it was unplugged). I screwed it back up, and plugged it back in, and there was nothing. RIP.

My Wii - in all it's fresh innocence - sits by the TiVo waiting for some attention. Poor thing. It doesn't know the TV broke. I couldn't tell Wii. I though it might get upset. My TiVo is holding a brave front and trying to bond with the Wii.

So, until I get a new TV, it's safe to say, Wii Sad.

She stumbled right out of gate, but Rags to Riches didn't give up and raced the field of colts to become the first filly to win the Belmont Stakes in more than a century.

Sicko

I'm really so interested to see Michael Moore's new documentary on the U.S. health care system, "Sicko." He was even featured on Oprah! Wow! The only time I've recently gone to a movie on opening weekend was to see the second Harry Potter movie - in 2002. Anyway, I plan to see "Sicko" the weekend is arrives in theaters on June 29!

New Company, No Internet

A new company took over at my job, and rumor has it that they will restrict all and any internet access.

Ummm... it's like, 2007!!!

Is it really possible to work at a job without internet access?

True, I will check my personal email throughout the day, or see the latest tech news headlines... but to make the internet completely unavailable? Wouldn't it just be more efficient to fire the people who spend all their day on the internet and can't seem to accomplish anything at their job? Why punish all of us?

Bastards.

PS - In unrelated news, the Apple iPhone will be released June 29th.
