New Company, No Internet

A new company took over at my job, and rumor has it that they will restrict all and any internet access.

Ummm... it's like, 2007!!!

Is it really possible to work at a job without internet access?

True, I will check my personal email throughout the day, or see the latest tech news headlines... but to make the internet completely unavailable? Wouldn't it just be more efficient to fire the people who spend all their day on the internet and can't seem to accomplish anything at their job? Why punish all of us?

Bastards.

PS - In unrelated news, the Apple iPhone will be released June 29th.

yeah it does suck . . . but on the other hand

i see it on my self . . . the internet pretty much does distract me from my work, especially since I have to be on there almost all day long to do resurge and what not. and sometimes I just wish I would not have the access/ would have to use it so i can concentrate more *does that make sense*
