What would you do if you were given a million dollars today?
I think I would quit my job. Move near the ocean, and spend the summer learning to surf. Maybe move to San Diego, which I just love. Or stay within the NY area. I would want to buy a home/condo/townhouse. I want to own something. I want a balcony or backyard. Some place to sit and relax. I want to buy things for a place I actually own. I want to paint my walls any color that suits me. I want to buy a big, comfy chair, and sit in it every day. I want a washer and drying in my home. I want to be able to share my home with someone.
But I don't have a million dollars, so I must go to work today.

If I had a million dollars, I'd quit my job in a second and sail across the ocean to see all the places I've never been.
Then, I'd settle near the ocean somewhere...and like you said, have a place to sit and relax.
Oh, and I'd give some of that money to others who need it besides me.
A million dollars....run away to a tropical island and become the mysterious local visited by travelling women.
